Articulate Producing Director

For Articulate:
Producer - Doctor Frankenstein
Director - Articulating the Arts: The Art of Protest

Tekla Gaughan
is a theatre artist in New York City and couldn’t be happier to be working alongside her mentors and friends. During the day, you can find her as a Broadway group sales agent and marketing director at BroadwayGPS. Her most recent projects include producing Articulate Theatre Company’s developmental production of Doctor Frankenstein and directing Perversity in Articulate's signature series, Articulating the Arts: The Art of Protest.

She is especially fond of her stage adaptation of Abortive, a script by Caryl Churchill originally written as a radio show in 1971. Through her experience working in multiple mediums of theatre, Tekla truly believes in the balance of art and business. Tekla is an alumna of Cincinnati’s School of Creative & Performing Arts and Kent State University’s Theatre Department. She is thankful for the ability to speak her mind, her partner and their family.
