Lisa Barri “has emerged as one of the most charismatic actresses to surface in years.” She has performed in many regional theaters, and all over New York City from Playwrights Horizons to Surf Reality. Most recently, she performed in a staged reading of George Lefferts' play, The Boat, at the HBO Theater, directed by Emmy award winner Stephanie Braxton; and performed the role Lady Anne at the HB Playwrights Theater. Other credits include: Agnes in The Shadow Box, Prudence in Beyond Therapy, and Celia in A Hatfull of Rain. Her one woman play, “Invisible Child- a play for one voice and three dancers,” directed by Broadway veteran Don Johanson, has been produced on several occasions to acclaim, most recently at the Midtown International Theater Festival. On screen, Lisa starred in a variety of independent films, and has been part of many play development groups including The Ensemble Studio Theater.  She is currently shooting a web series, "Duplicious," for Vis.a.al Therapy Films, playing the role of the psychologist, Laura Phillips. She is the recipient of the Muelhstein Scholarship for Acting.  Currently she studies with Austin Pendleton, previously with Alice Spivak, Joel Friedman, The Neighborhood Playhouse, and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. She is delighted to be a member of the Articulate Theatre Company.
