JOANNE DORIAN, a graduate of the UCLA Theater Arts Department, and a proud founding member of Articulate Theatre Company, has a varied career that spans over 40 years, with three Broadway shows to her credit including S/B for Glenda Jackson in the Tony nominated Strange Interlude; Devour the Snow directed by Terry Schreiber; and Arms and the Man, directed by John Malkovich starring Kevin Kline and Raul Julia. She has appeared in New York and across the country in 25+ leading roles including the First National Company of There's A Girl in My Soup as standby to Betsy Von Furstenberg, starring Don Ameche. In the early 1970's Joanne briefly starred as Viki Lord Riley on the daytime drama One Life To Live and appeared in recurring roles on several others. Her feature films include The Amazing Panda Adventure starring Stephen Lang and Ryan Slater (her godson); Ironclads as Virginia Madsen's mother; A Stranger Is Watching co-starring with Rip Torn; and an award-winning independent short film, Angel Passing, featured with Hume Cronyn. Prime time movies and television appearances as well as numerous commercials/voiceovers round out her versatile career. Joanne has the distinction of being the first national spokesperson for Weight Watchers Frozen Foods and Johnson & Johnson Baby Shampoo. She is currently serving on the Executive Board of Women in the Arts & Media Coalition, Inc. and the SAG-AFTRA National and New York Local Women's Committee. Union: AEA, SAG-AFTRA |
