Wendy Mae Shelton. After long a hiatus from the theatre world while raising her sons on the North Shore of Massachusetts, Wendy joyfully returned to her thespian roots and New York City in 2007, to finally fill what was a creative void. It has been an enriching and wonderful journey. In Spring 2010 she joined The Shelter Theatre Company, where she is a Resident Artist. Her original play Unexpected Company won the honor of Best Play at the Strawberry Festival Summer 2011. She fully credits The Shelter family, for without their help and encouragement this would not have been possible. She is also a founding member of Articulate Theatre Company. She considers it an honor to be a part of such a generous and brilliantly talented group of artists. Her training includes T. Schreiber Studio, Purchase College, True Act of Miami, The Theatre Lab and Queens College. |
