ATC's Artists Salon
DATE: Dec 3rd, 2013-6:30pm
(RSVP to [email protected])
The Artists Salon allows our Company the opportunity to get to know fellow members and their work. It is a place to hear an excerpt of a new play, a monologue that an actor is working on, see a designer's sketch, perhaps hear a song, etc. It is also a time to bring in potential new members, to know them a little. Uniquely, ATC's Salon doesn't cater only to playwrights and new plays. Any artist in the Company can bring something to the Salon to get feedback on.

Seamus Heaney Tribute
DATE: November 4th, 2013 - 6:30pm
The Globe Pub
As ATC approached the end of its first year, we decided to get our members, supporters, and well-wishers together to celebrate, mingle and enjoy the power of theatre. We met at The Globe to raise a glass and listen to the words of one of "the greatest Irish Poet since Yeats." Seamus Heaney was a Nobel Prize winning poet, who died just this past August. We paid tribute to him with a reading of some of his work. We will also be doing a public reading at Barnes & Noble at Union Square on Dec 2nd. [read more here]

Goin' (and Givin') to the Dogs!
(and Cats)
Date: October 26th, 2013
Way back in April/May, ATC presented Dragon at the Planet Connections Festival, and part of the festival is that each production aligns itself with a cause, and works to raise awareness and donations for that cause. Our cause was Urgent Pets on Death Row, an NYC animal advocates group that advocates for change in the NY Animal Care and Control system. To read more about the wonderful work they are doing to help our furry friends, check them out here. And to see more pictures, check out our photo gallery!

Our first fundraising event, and first social gathering of the Articulate Gang! Very successful and loads of fun! We would like to thank all who attended!!! It was a wonderful and delicious night where something new was truly born into the New York Theatre World. Articulate Theatre is here and the people who are a part of it, both producing and observing are some of the most exciting people at it. We are happy to be a part of this vibrant and possibility filled time in New York City and are looking forward to a fantastic future. Hooray for Articulate Theatre!!!!
