Katrin Hilbe [director] September 14, Katrin is directing four out of eight monologues written by eight European writers around the broad theme of IDENTITY EUROPE. This evening is a co-production between the Theater Liechtenstein, Deutsches Nationaltheater Weimar, Les Théatres de la Ville de Luxembourg. The production will be also presented in Prague as part of the festival of German theatre in Prague.

Scott C. Sickles [playwright] Marianas Trench, the first play in Scott's new science fiction trilogy, was named a Finalist for the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center's 2019 National Playwrights Conference. While the play ultimately will not be presented in the Conference, being one of 67 Finalists out of over 1,400 submissions ain't bad.
Bara Swain [Playwright] In addition to the Articulating the Arts production of Yearning for Peace, her one-act play, The Wonder of You, was produced in the Fine Arts Association 22nd Annual One-Act Festival (OH). The radio play version of Can You Hear Me Now? was featured in the Radio Theatre Project@620 Mother’s Day broadcast (FL).
Dennis Parichy [designer] is designing the lights for The Color of Light at The Schoolhouse Theater, and For Peter Pan on the Occasion of Her 70th Birthday for the People's Light and Theatre Company.

Scott C. Sickles [playwright] made his professional LORT regional theater debut at The Repertory Theater of St Louis with the world premiere of Nonsense and Beauty. A biographical drama about E. M. Forster (A Room With A View, A Passage to India), Sickles completed the first draft in 1995. After 24 years of readings, rejections and waiting, the play won the 2016 Dayton Playhouse FutureFest before being selected as part of the Rep's 2018 Ignite! reading series, from which it was selected for this production, which ran from March 6 thru 24.
Bara Swain [Playwright] In March, Bara’s play, Responsible was produced in Short+Sweet Theatre Dubai, The Junction (UAE) and Turn! Turn! Turn! (Originally created for Articulating the Arts) was produced at the Tom Mann Theatre, Sydney, Australia. Pandemonium premiered at the Open Fist Theatre Company’s annual political pop-up in L.A. Bara also produced an evening of staged readings by women playwrights at Urban Stages, “The Opinion Pieces.” Participants included Articulate members Wendy Mae Shelton and Carolyn Seiff.

Bara Swain [Playwright] The Wonder of You was produced in Artistic New Directions’ one act festival in February at Theatre 54 (NYC). Her short play, I Love Lucy, was produced in Australia at the Tom Mann Theatre (Sydney).
Scott C. Sickles [playwright] rewrote Hamlet. You're welcome!!! His adaptation, Frailty, Thy Name, examines the events of Shakespeare's tragedy strictly from Gertrude and Ophelia's perspectives, asking what they could have done if they were able to take action. Frailty, Thy Name was presented as a staged reading, directed by DeLisa M. White, by Reign or Shine Productions as part of their Seeing Double series.

Michael Gnat [Actor] will reprise his role as Troy, the gun instructor, in Sam Graber's Shooter, performing in Liechtenstein, Konstanz (Ger.), and Rome during January 2019. The show is once again directed, and the tour organized, by Katrin Hilbe.
Bara Swain [Playwright] In January, Planned Obsolescence premiered at The Gallery Players, NYC. Bara also received The Standing Ovation Award for her plays I Love Lucy and Can You Hear Me Now? (The Actors Institute). Smith & Kraus anthologized I Love Lucy in Best Ten Minute Plays 2019.

Bara Swain [playwright] Extraordinary has been selected for NJ Rep’s West End Festival of the Arts (2018 Theatre Brut), in response to the theme “When the Circus Comes to Town.” Performances are in September.
Robin Rice [playwright] drama Embracing the Undertoad, will receive a staged reading at the Wohl Center (647 Columbus Ave., NYC) at 7:30 on September 17 and a reading for industry at the Dramatist Guild Fund's Piano Room on September 20 at 1:30.

Robert Verlaque [actor] stars as 'Aradar' in coming "Star Trek-Discovery", shooting in July for CBS All Access. His short film "JOB in Purgatory" is in competition at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival.
Kevin Gilmartin [actor] performed the lead role in a staged reading of a new play Adele's Way" by Dennis Porter and directed by Joan Kane. This was part of the TRU Voices reading series held at Soho Playhouse.

Kevin Gilmartin [actor] had a film in which he plays the leading role, Into The Dark, open in competition in the Soho International Film Festival here in NYC. The film was directed by Ben Berger of TV's The Blacklist.

Bara Swain [playwright] was awarded 2nd prize for Best Script in the Short+Sweet Canberra Festival in Australia for her play, I Love Lucy. An excerpt from her play, Rachel Holds Court, is anthologized in a new collection that launched this month, “Later Chapters: The Best Scenes and Monologues for Actors Over 50.” A monologue from Turn! Michael Gnat [actor] will appear as both a Mormon local politician (Cliff) and a Nevadan retiree (Henry) in Leegrid Stevens's look at local politics in Mesquite, NV -- which shares many features of politics at the larger level. Workshop Theater's Main Stage, October 5-28.
Dennis Parichy [designer] will be designing Donizetti’s The Siege of Calais for the Odyssey Opera Co. of Boston in October. He has just done an hour-and-a-half lighting design presentation for “The Pirate University” – a training program of Corporate Audio Visual Services for their staff . He will be designing The Enlightment of Mr. Mole, a new adaptation of The Wind in the Willows and The Gift of the Magi for the Schoolhouse Theatre in November and December, followed by Morning’s at Seven for People’s Light & Theatre Co.

Scott C. Sickles [playwright] Marianas Trench, the first play in Scott's new science fiction trilogy, was named a Finalist for the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center's 2019 National Playwrights Conference. While the play ultimately will not be presented in the Conference, being one of 67 Finalists out of over 1,400 submissions ain't bad.
Bara Swain [Playwright] In addition to the Articulating the Arts production of Yearning for Peace, her one-act play, The Wonder of You, was produced in the Fine Arts Association 22nd Annual One-Act Festival (OH). Scott C. Sickles [playwright] made his professional LORT regional theater debut at The Repertory Theater of St Louis with the world premiere of Nonsense and Beauty. A biographical drama about E. M. Forster (A Room With A View, A Passage to India), Sickles completed the first draft in 1995. After 24 years of readings, rejections and waiting, the play won the 2016 Dayton Playhouse FutureFest before being selected as part of the Rep's 2018 Ignite! reading series, from which it was selected for this production, which ran from March 6 thru 24.
Bara Swain [Playwright] In March, Bara’s play, Responsible was produced in Short+Sweet Theatre Dubai, The Junction (UAE) and Turn! Turn! Turn! (Originally created for Articulating the Arts) was produced at the Tom Mann Theatre, Sydney, Australia. Pandemonium premiered at the Open Fist Theatre Company’s annual political pop-up in L.A. His adaptation, Frailty, Thy Name, examines the events of Shakespeare's tragedy strictly from Gertrude and Ophelia's perspectives, asking what they could have done if they were able to take action. Frailty, Thy Name was presented as a staged reading, directed by DeLisa M. White, by Reign or Shine Productions as part of their Seeing Double series.

Michael Gnat [Actor] will reprise his role as Troy, the gun instructor, in Sam Graber's Shooter, performing in Liechtenstein, Konstanz (Ger.), and Rome during January 2019. The show is once again directed, and the tour organized, by Katrin Hilbe.

Robin Rice's [playwright] play Blood Sisters, about nuns in full-activist mode, has been chosen for an evening performance at 13th Street Rep in the In Her Name on Saturday, April 16. Played "William Wilson" in Season 4 of Boardwalk Empire (episode 7), and guest starred on NBC's "Saving Hope." Also did a national commerical for Scotiabank iTrade. On the theatrical front, Bob recently directed new plays by John Patrick Shanley, Robert Askins, Don Nigro for NyLonFusion. He is also the author of original play Icarus Sings which is in pre-production in Oregon following a workshop in Toronto.
