UPCOMING PRODUCTIONS
MR. TOOLE - [Feb 2020] - Mr. Toole is a co-production with Lagniappe Productions, and will be presented at 59E59 Theatres in Feb/Mar of 2020. Before he was an author, John Kennedy Toole was a teacher. That’s how Lisette, one of his students at an all-girl’s college in New Orleans, knew him and loved him. Through her eyes, amid the music, magic, and mystery of The Big Easy we, too, learn to love “Mr. Toole.” The teacher a student will never forget becomes a legend the world will always remember.

Circling Back, an evening honoring Circle Repertory Company (September 30, 2015)
In 1969, a few strong-hearted artists created an ensemble based theatre company: Circle Repertory Company. It's membership was made up of actors, writers, designers, directors - artists from every corner of the theatrical community. From humble beginnings, Circle Rep grew to be one of the nation's foremost theatrical companies. It's roster of members reads like a "Who's Who" of stage and screen. Articulate looks to the Circle Rep model for inspiration and looks forward to paying homage to them. If you were a part of Circle Rep, please email us at [email protected], and tell us what it meant to you!
The Skin of Our Teeth by Thornton Wilder (March 5th to 22nd, 2015)
Facing a time of peril and uncertainty in our nation upon America's entrance into World War II, Wilder wrote a most unexpected play. He wrote about climate change, moral corruption and the importance of planning for a post-war world. The play uses the tools of absurdity to comment on an all-too-real world situation, and underlines it all with humor and a belief in the ability of mankind to survive, thrive and become better.
Dragon by Jenny Connell Davis (May/June 2013)
Kitchen sink meets ancient myth in the interwoven tale(s) of a boy, a dragon, and a dangerous love triangle.
Articulating the Arts is about provoking a conversation on the arts via other arts. A way of using the art of theatre to comment upon, or respond to, another type of art. Our Company playwrights, actors, directors and designers, plus guest artists, will come together to write and perform one-acts based on their response to the works of art, such as classic painting, poetry, fashion, etc. We've held two events based on this idea already. You can learn more about them by clicking on the event titles below.
