Denise Pence recently produced the 105th Anniversary Event at The Players for The Rehearsal Club, and as they now move to incorporate as a 501(c)3 organization, she has become Chair of their Documentary Committee. (www.rehearsalclubnyc.com)

She
is an alum from the North Carolina School for the Arts and a graduate of Fordham University in NYC.

Credits on B'way include the original productions of The Rothschilds, Follies and Pippin.  She also served as the prototype for "Kristine" in A Chorus Line.  Fans still remember her Emmy-nominated role as "Katie Parker" on The Guiding Light.

Since then, she has branched into producing, dramaturging, coaching social media marketing, and writing, while continuing to seek challenging roles as an actress.

Her marriage to director, Steve Boockvor (prototype for "Al" in A Chorus Line) for the last 40 years and their two gorgeous daughters, Brette & Jolan, are her most satisfying and challenging productions to date. As of 2018, she added "New Millenium Grandma" as her newest project!
